Our aim is to provide top quality school photography - as good as we take in our own contemporary portrait studio - but at school photography prices.  Rather than shooting one head shot, we take several shots of each child and capture their personality whilst remaining mindful that these are school photos!. Parents have a minimum of 4 shots for each pupil.

The result is delighted parents and good commission for the school.We use skilled photographers working in our fully equipped portable studios. We spend just a little longer with each child. Individual & Sibling Portraits

ON THE DAY : Time and space                    

We set up one or more of our fully equipped portable studios in the school hall, gym or other suitable space. Each studio needs approx 6m x 6m and access to an electricity supply.

We spend just a minute or two with each child and take several different photographs of the child, talking to them and photographing a range of expressions.

We ask the school to organise a schedule based on classes or year groups and to allocate one member of staff to help organise things on the day.

A single studio can accommodate approximately 200 - 250 children in a typical school day. For larger schools we are happy to provide a second studio and run two studios in parallel when space permits.

ON THE DAY  : The Photography

We use our studio experience when approaching portraits of individual pupils. We capture several shots of each child and present the best shots online for each parent to view :

• Parents can choose whether they prefer a more classic photo or a more relaxed modern photo or both!  They have the option to buy just one photo or choose from a variety of packs or download as digital copy of any photo too.

• Our experience has given us good insight into what works both for school offices and for parents. We understand how parents react to navigation and purchasing messages. We aim to keep things as simple and efficient as we can for the school and for parents.

  We talk to each school and explain how the online system works and how it is such an efficient tool for tracking orders and answering queries etc. We are very happy to take the time to explain our state of the art system early in the planning of the photography and help with any admin or queries.  There is always a good client communication when you call our office. In peak times there may occasionally be an answer machine but this is answered within hours of any call – always.

  Online Method : With the online system we ask the school for pupil names and ID (for their database if required) several weeks before the shoot. On the day we assign a unique QR code to every child and so every child has their own password card.  This is given back to the school and goes to parents a few days later. From this point parents can login to the system – view their photos and order.  The orders are batched together and printed by our processing lab and we hand deliver everything back to the school in one delivery packed by class.

  Our Prices :   Pricing is available on request  but we have been told that we are very reasonable!  We always have an initial Early Bird order period too which incentivises early ordering by offering a discount on all purchases - this is very popular with parents !
